Bangkok Airways posts US$10 million loss in October-December quarter

Bangkok Airways recorded a 345.8 million baht (US$10 million) net loss for the three months to December 31 compared with a net profit of 150.2 million baht for the same quarter in 2022. Despite the loss, the company delivered a full-year profit of 3.1 billion baht, a recovery from a net loss of 2.1 billion baht in 2022. “The year of 2023 was marked by a strong recovery of travel demand,” Bangkok Airways said. “The company carried 3.9 million passengers, an increase of 49.5% against 2022 and is 67.7% recovered from pre-COVID levels.”
