Qatar Airways moves to new Goa airport

Qatar Airways is the latest airline to shift its operations from Goa's Dabolim Airport (International Air Transport Association airport code GOI) to the new Manohar Airport (airport code GOX). Read More » The oneworld alliance member said its last flights at Dabolim Airport are scheduled to arrive on June 19. Qatar Airways' first flight to Manohar will touch down on June 20. “Qatar Airways is joining a list of airlines ready to be served by GOX, including strategic partners, IndiGo and Oman Air,” Qatar Airways said. “With its state-of-the-art infrastructure and close proximity to hotels and public transportation, the new airport is set to deliver an enhanced passenger experience.” Manohar opened in December 2022,. It is linked to the international destinations of Abu Dhabi by IndiGo, London Gatwick by Air India year-round, TUI Airways seasonally and Muscat by Oman Air.
