Hong Kong Airlines director of human resources, Viola Wong, said the company is working to retain staff and recruiting more cabin crew as the Hong Kong-based carrier expands its fleet and route network. Read More » “To further retain and motivate our employees, we have launched various incentive schemes, communication channels and staff caring activities,” Wong said. “We anticipate a net increase of 500 employees this year and will continue to allocate resources for talent training and staff activities to retain our valuable employees.” Hong Kong Airlines general manager on board experience, Sally Lo, said the 20 cabin crew hired at its recent recruitment drive in Thailand are in their final phase of training and will begin flying by month-end. The airline plans to have a head count of 10% more flight crew and 40% extra cabin crew within the year.
