China Eastern Airlines focusing on expanding domestic demand, boosting international transfer traffic

Read More » “In 2024, the company will take the initiative to serve the national strategy of expanding domestic demand, keeping a close eye on its business targets for the year and enhancing operational efficiency,” CEA said. It is building the competitiveness of its home hub, particularly for international transit passengers, it added. “With the main operations base in Shanghai and strong resources, the company will concentrate on improving the accessibility of aviation hubs, ,develop more flights to and from Pudong, enhance ‘domestic trunk and branch lines connection and full network linkage’ transfer process for through flights and promote growth of international transfer business,” CEA said.
