Auckland International Airport raises US$744 million in fresh equity

Auckland International Airport (AIA) has announced its NZ$1.2 billion (US$744 million) capital raising was fully subscribed via a book build process with existing institutional investors and other parties in local and offshore markets. Read More » AIA CEO, Carrie Hurihanganui, said she was very pleased with the level of support for the placement. The funds raised will allow Auckland Airport to deliver critical infrastructure, build resilience and provide airline capacity growth, she said. The airport company is raising another NZ$200 million from retail shareholders.
