Cebu Pacific responds to robust demand for Mactan flights

Cebu Pacific has increased frequencies and capacity out of Mactan Airport as it pursues network expansion. Read More » The LCC, which operates to 24 domestic and six international destinations from the airport, increased flights from the hub by 34.7% (3,580) to 4,824 flights last month compared with January 2023. Capacity was expanded by 51.6%, to 717,000 seats, against 473,000 seats 12 months ago. “Cebu Pacific’s continuing expansion in Cebu reflects strong demand for affordable and accessible air travel in Central Visayas,” Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer, Xander Lao, said. “By increasing our flights and seat capacity we are connecting more passengers and supporting tourism, trade and economic opportunities across the region.” The airline flew 5.6 million passengers into and out of Mactan Airport last year.
