THAI details benefits of Thai Smile integration

Thai Airways International (THAI) chief commercial officer, Korakot Chatasingha, said the integration of regional wing, Thai Smile, into the main airline, part of the “One THAI One Fly” campaign, has resulted in significant improvements in revenue and aircraft utilization and provided a seamless travel experience for passengers. Read More » Thai Smile’s A320s after being transferred to THAI are being refurbished to include a business class cabin. The Star Alliance member said the A320 fleet serves eight domestic routes and 22 destinations across the Asia-Pacific. The new narrow-body business class, Royal Silk Class, has “comprehensive full-service features” such as spacious seats, wireless inflight entertainment and premium dining options, the THAI CCO said. “The service, launched this January, will be available in all 20 of THAI’s A320s by the second quarter of the year,” Korakot said.
