Philippine Airlines adds to Vietnam network with second Chi Minh City route

Read More » The rotation will be a late night departure from Cebu and an overnight service from Ho Chi Minh City to the Philippines. It will be PAL’s second route to Vietnam’s commercial capital alongside existing eight times a week Manila-Ho Chi Minh City. In April, the flag carrier will increase Manila-Hanoi to daily against five times a week at present. “We are pleased to expand the Philippine Airlines footprint in Vietnam, our next-door neighbour and fellow ASEAN member country, by linking Ho Chi Minh City to Cebu for the very first time,” PAL president and chief operating officer, Captain Stanley Ng, said. When the route opens PAL will be the only airline flying nonstop Cebu-Ho Chi Minh City.
