Korean Air to debut premium economy cabin on retrofitted 777-300ERs

Read More » The new cabin, branded as premium class, is part of a 300 billion won (US$216 million) program that is equipping 11 777-300ERs with new cabin interiors and the SkyTeam alliance member’s latest business class and economy products. The new 777-300ER economy cabin will have a 40-seat 2-4-2 layout with a seat pitch of 39 and 41 inches, a seat width of 19.5 inches and a 130 degree recline. "We are committed to bringing the fully redesigned 777-300ERs and new premium class to as many customers as possible," a KAL spokesperson said. "The fleet upgrade has been in progress since 2018. After delays during the pandemic, we are proud to offer an elevated travel experience that meets the evolving needs of our passengers."
