Vistara gambles on new Mumbai-Male route

Vistara began nonstop flights between Mumbai and Male yesterday. Read More » The Indian carrier, a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines (SIA), is flying A320s three times a week on the route under India’s air transport bubble with the Maldives. Male is Vistara's seventh international destination following Dhaka, Doha, Dubai, Frankfurt, London and Sharjah. The expanding network is operating under bilateral air travel bubble arrangements. "We are happy to be able to offer our customers the choice of flying their favourite and India’s best airline on this route," Vistara CEO, Leslie Thng, said.
