Hong Kong loosens COVID-19 quarantine rules

Hong Kong is to allow fully vaccinated travellers from lower-risk countries to quarantine in the Special Administrative Region for a shortened period of seven days. Read More » The new rules will apply from June 30, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government said. To qualify as fully vaccinated by the HKSAR, an individual must have completed a COVID-19 vaccination course using an approved vaccine at least 14 days before travel. The government also plans to allow non-Hong Kong residents, who have not been to high-risk countries and are fully vaccinated, to enter the HKSAR. Travellers must prove they are vaccinated against COVID-19 via an antibody test.
