Bangkok Airways launches Samui-Singapore route

Bangkok Airways said it would resume its first international service from August 1, when nonstop flights between Samui and Singapore take off. Read More » The three times a week service, operated by A319s, will support the Thailand government's re-opening project and Samui Plus Model project, Bangkok Airways said. “We are more than delighted to announce the resumption of our first international flight after being on pause for a long while due to the pandemic," Bangkok Airways president, Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, said. "The Samui–Singapore route is anticipated to bring back confidence to Thailand’s tourism. We are assured Samui and Singapore have robust processes in place to ensure travel between the two cities can be undertaken safely."
