Airbus delivered 47 aircraft in July

Airbus said 47 commercial aircraft were delivered to 32 customers in July, bringing to 344 aircraft handed to customers to date in calendar 2021. The OEM booked orders for two commercial aircraft in June, with Mexico's Volaris putting pen to paper for a pair of A320neo. The order lifted the Airbus year-to-date total for gross orders to 167, less than half the 369 gross orders signed in the first seven months of 2020. Net orders, which took into account cancellations, stood at 33 aircraft at July 31.
