Air China sets up Air Mongolia

Flag Carrier, Air China, has added another domestic airline to its list of seven subsidiaries. In August, the  Beijing-based airline said it would fund the establishment of Air China Inner Mongolia Ltd in a joint venture with the local government of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. Read More »

The subsidiary would be 80% owned by Air China with the remaining 20% held by the Inner Mongolian government. Based in Hohhot, the new airline is planned to be flying by year end with two B737-300s and two B737-700s to Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Hangzhou and Guangzhou.
