Japan has cancelled a ban on new bookings for international flights into the country a day after the measure was introduced, local media reports, citing comments from the Ministry of Transport. Read More » On Wednesday, Japan asked all airlines to temporarily suspend new bookings for incoming passengers to the country as a precautionary measure in response to the new COVID-19 Omicron variant. The policy did not affect individuals with existing bookings or transit passengers.
