BOC Aviation announces 10% lift in annual profits

"As the world commenced its recovery from the worst effects of COVID, BOC Aviation’s 2021 earnings rose in line with better airline customer cash flows and rising activity levels across the aviation industry," BOC Aviation CEO, Robert Martin, said. "As 2021 progressed our airline customers moved from reacting to the events of the present to positioning themselves and their fleets for the future. Commercial aircraft orders at Boeing and Airbus rose as airlines began to look forward to the resumption of passenger demand growth. Financing these, our own order book and the manufacturers’ existing backlog of deliveries will provide growth opportunities in 2022 and beyond for our company." BOC Aviation had a fleet of 521 aircraft owned, managed or on order at December 31, down from 553 a year earlier.
