China Southern Airlines domestic passenger numbers slide 63.9% in March

China Southern Airlines (CSA) carried four million passengers on its domestic network in March, down 63.9%, from 11.7 million passengers flown in the same month in 2021. Domestic passenger load factor for the 31 days was 64.6%, CSA said, compared with 76.1% in March 2021 and 68.7%, in February. CSA withdrew an A380 from service for a second straight month in March. At March 31, the airline had a fleet of 879 aircraft.
