Thai AirAsia X adds three Japanese cities to regional network

Read More » Its existing Suvarnabhumi-Seoul Incheon flights have 95% of seats sold for June, the LCC said. The Thai capital to Seoul Incheon, Osaka and Tokyo will be daily by October. Bangkok-Sapporo is scheduled for four flights a week. “With the improving COVID-19 situation, the airline has been able to continually reopen routes,” Thai AirAsia X CEO, Patima Jeerapaet, said. “We have a robust and clear plan for adding routes and increasing flight frequencies for Seoul and the Japanese destinations.” Thai AirAsia X expects to carry 300,000 passengers in calendar 2022 and record a load factor of 85%. By year end, the LCC aims to be operating five A330-300s configured with 365 economy and 12 flatbed seats.
