Airports Council International’s Airports Innovate will return to the industry’s global calendar in December after a two-year hiatus. The Muscat Oman gathering will be the launch pad for the association’s new trade show format.

Neste’s first shipment of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to Air New Zealand is scheduled to arrive in New Zealand next week. The 1.2 million litres (937 tons) of neat SAF is being imported into the country in partnership with Z Energy, the SAF manufacturer said.

Rolls-Royce has finalised the sale of Spain-based engine and gas turbine manufacturer, ITP Aero, to investors led by Bain Capital Private Equity. The sale was first announced in September 2021. The US$1.6 billion proceeds will be used to reduce debt, including repayments on a two billion pound sterling loan.
