Singapore Changi processed 3.32 million passengers in August

Singapore Changi Airport had 3.32 million passengers passing through its terminals last month, a 0.6% month-on-month increase from 3.3 million travellers processed at the airport complex in July, Changi Airport Group (CAG) has reported. Read More » Despite the slender month-on-month growth, CAG said the result was more than 14 times higher than the 211,000 passengers it recorded in the same month in 2021. Commercial aircraft movements increased to 20,400 in the reported 31 days from 20,300 in July and 9,300 a year earlier. Compared with pre-COVID-19 levels of activity, the August numbers were 44% below the 5.9 million passengers the airport processed in the same month in 2019.
