Japan Airlines flew 2.3 million domestic passengers in September

Japan Airlines (JAL) carried 2.3 million domestic customers last month, down 17% from the 2.8 million customers flown in August. The oneworld alliance member's September domestic load factor was 63.1%; lower than the 67.7% of the previous month, but higher than the 40.9% recorded a year earlier. Measured against JAL's pre-COVID-19 operations, its September domestic passenger total was 71.4% of the 3.1 million passengers the airline transported in the same 30 days in 2019.
