Malaysia Airports Group records 5.3 million passengers through its terminals in September

Malaysia Airports Group said 5.3 million passengers passed through its domestic airports last month, up from the 4.8 million travellers processed in August. Read More » International passengers increased about 13% month-on-month, to 1.9 million, and domestic customers were around 6.5% higher, at 3.4 million for the reported period. Malaysia Airports Group managing director, Dato Iskandar Mizal Mahmood, said the outlook for the national aviation industry was improving day by day. “Industry players are working very closely with the government to ensure we reach about 10 million international tourists by year-end,” he said.
