Bangkok Airways narrows quarterly losses to US$11 million

Bangkok Airways has reported a net loss of 392.9 million baht (US$11 million) for the three months to September 30 compared with a 7 billion baht net loss in the year-ago period. Read More » Revenue rose 486.3%, to 3.9 billion baht, Bangkok Airways said in a filing to the country’s stock exchange. The regional airline flew 801,000 passengers in the quarter, achieving a load factor of 77.2%. “Tourism in Thailand in the third quarter of the year has seen significant growth compared with the previous year,” Bangkok Airways said. “The company has increased flight frequencies to match higher travel demand.”
