Air China to transfer eight A330s to cargo business

Read More » The eight aircraft, which started flying with Air China between 2006 and 2008, would join Air China Cargo in the 2023 to 2025 timeframe, Air China said in a regulatory filing. The Star Alliance member said the transfer of "relatively longer average age" aircraft would "optimise the structure of the group’s aircraft fleet", as well as "effectively control delivery costs through a reasonable pricing mechanism and optimised delivery terms and improve the economic benefits of aircraft disposal". State-owned China National Aviation Holding Corporation Limited owns 50.14% of Air China and 45% of Air China Cargo.
